The Eighth Plague Is the Plague of Locusts
The eighth plague is the plague of locusts. It's the second in the cycle, and it has primarily to do with the land on terms of its praising. The idea is a defilement that comes and fills up. So there's a similarity here to the way the frogs filled their houses. Now we have a legal argument, and we're back to the legality of the exodus here. Verses eight and following, very important. Moses and aaron were brought back to pharaoh, and he said to them, go and serve the lord your god. That means, go and become his slave. You don't have to be my slave. You go become god's slave
