Holiday Travel Season Is Nearing Pre-Pandemic Levels
AAA expects nearly 55 million to travel 50 miles or more this year. Trips by train, bus, or cruise ship will jump 23 percent but it will all cost more. Gas prices are up on average 34 cents a gallon over last year. Hotels up 6 percent and airfare has jumped 43 percent.
