Is There a Better Alternative to Collective Bargaining?
Alan Greenspan ran the Fed from 1987 to 2006 for nearly 20 years with almost no dissent. He was known for keeping interest rates at rock bottom levels and so blamed for the housing crisis. The idea that prices and profits have to be a you know an appropriate target for collective intervention whether that's through collective bargaining or through government policy I think that's the kind of spirit that we would need to recover before we get any further.
