Itoh and Kawashima explain how synchronous replication over ultra-low latency optical networks can reduce the risk of data loss while simplifying disaster recovery and lowering operational complexity.
We also explore the role of Open All-Photonic Networks and why reducing packet forwarding layers can dramatically cut latency and infrastructure costs.
