Getting a DUI Charge Against a Student at UVA
In 2007, when he was 19, George Yardley was charged with possession of alcohol by a minor in Palm Beach, Florida. His father called the Palm Beach police to report a domestic violence incident while they were on a family yacht. There's another incident that took place just a few months before this, when He was out drunk with some other lacrosse players who were visiting from the University of North Carolina. But apparently, UVA doesn't actually run any background checks or try to verify information their students disclosed because considering George's background, he shouldn't still be a student.
