The Importance of Evolution
Are we facing a situation where my nephews and niece that are teenagers today will be talking about the same companies 30 years from now? I can't imagine how that won't be true based on the way you're kind of making these arguments. One of the central elements of evolution is essentially competition. It's the struggle for survival. We don't want companies to get old and fat and merely survive because they have more power through crony capitalism. And so getting back to your point about evolution, I completely agree. You see this in industry after industry where industries often start out as being small and dispersed and then they centralize.
