I don't think any criminal trial should be brought to make a point. Criminal triles should be brought when the prosecution feels like th they can prove their case beyond a reasonable doubt. And i do think that in this case they could. That the application of this particular self defence law and these particular gun laws that were very permissive, the jury probably reached the correct verdict under the law. If cal rittenhouse were a black defendant he likely would have been killed or at least put on trial for his actions. But once he was there, I do think that the prosecution did not meet its burden to prove that he was not acting in self defence. In that sense, the jury did
