The Rise of Rents in the U.S.
The Wall Street Journal says apartment buildings could be the next major pain point in commercial real estate. Rents are still up 8% from a year ago, and in Manhattan they're hitting a fresh record high. Brokers say we can expect another month of records in August then maybe a flattening out or even decline in the fall.
