The Negative Effect of Religion on Humanity
I was talking to somebody just this week about the fact that we are animals, human beings. And part of what appalled me is that religion robs everything from humanity. It just dehumanizes people to strip them of everything human. I would like to serve my humanity and do something there instead of service to a God. Yeah, when they say that we are no different than a dog in some context, sure. But my life also has a good deal more value than most dogs, I would say.
