Social Gospel

In the church, there have been two ditches: core doctrines and applied theology. In fundamentalist movement, you had core doctrines that were really important. And then at other times in history, like the temperance movement, social gospel. So it's a strong theological maximalist position wanting to know who Christ is but apply it day to day.
