James Conner is a volume play. He's a play on projected volume. The data shows that players don't exceed expectation very well when they're past their fifth NFL season. It would be really easy for me as an analyst to sit here right now and say, yeah, go ahead and draft James Conner. But I'm not playing to get sixth place. I'm playing to get first.
