The Tent of Meeting

In chapter 9, we get this 8th day ritual for sanctifying the whole system essentially the altar and the tabernacle itself. It's kind of interesting, at least to me anyway. You have this analogy back to the Sinai ritual in this particular act. In the ordination of the priests here, again, it sort of has a dual function, purifies the priest who represent the people and also binds them in a covenant relationship.
