The Meta-Representation of the Human Psyche

I like categorizing human uniqueness. What is it about the human psyche that we seek seclusion for sex? Are we back to self-consciousness? I not only need to be aware of myself and what's going on in my mind, but I need to be able to form thoughts about other thoughts, including maybe your thoughts. That changes the way I communicate with you because instead of me just trying to get you to behave in a different way, I can try to change your ideas.
