The Role of Race in Admissions
Corey: Race is not a perfect proxy for disadvantage and I think there's other factors you can look at that more accurately described whether someone's advantage or disadvantaged. Corey: A focus on race is a political thing, rather than a genuine attempt to bring advantage to people who are disadvantaged. He says schools can legitimately consider socio economic factors such as the family you grew up in but where he would draw the line was photos.
