I've learned god will not tell you something about my life and not tell me. God and i are on speaking terms. We talk every single day. Don't base any decision what somebody told you that doesn't line up with what you feel on the inside. You can hear from god for yourself. He leads you. He guides you. Yes, it's good to be open and listen to parents and mentors and friends, but you got to follow your own heart. There is a still small voice, a knowing right down in here. That's god talking to you.
