The Russian pop culture stereotype of Ukrainians and therefore the Ukrainian language is, I mean, to use an American analogy. It's like a lot of northerners will treat a kind of rube as having a southern or mountain accent. And so that there's a sort of a regional bigotry or that is mapped on to people being uncultured, unsophisticated, et cetera.
