Mary tudor and elizabeth of york are first cousins once removed. They have this shared dessent. We begin with two clusters of exhibits, just really looking at el Elizabeth's ancestry. A seventeenth century copy of a now lost portrait of henry the eighth and his three children. And we pare the portrait with one of many circular letters that would have been written in advance of elElizabeth's birth to announce the birth of a prince.
