The Decision to Abandon Myself

I had been there for two and a half years at this point it's also kind of a maybe a sense of safety like oh there's somebody with an AK-47 it's a false sense of security. I can remember very clearly getting up out of my bed and walking to my bathroom and saying outside out loud to myself just do you want to do this and I knew the answer was no. There in in that moment when I was standing there looking at myself in the mirror I may be most important decision I have ever I think probably ever made in my life, she says. "I made the decision to abandon myself and I walked away from myself"
