The Importance of the US in the Open Source Space

If theory is correct, there's a geopolitical aspect of this to which all of this has to be balanced. I think it can be overstated the extent to which the United States benefited by having development of the original Internet be shaped by US entrepreneurs and government institutions. The importance of the US in this area is not for ordained. It takes kind of thoughtful long thought out policy to do that.
