It depends on the motive of the person to, quote, are they a bully or not? And i say one or two things. Either, somebody is woefully ignorant. Maybe they're a new boss, and maybe they think the expectation is to be overly tough on people. The other thing is, you're either woefully ignorant or wilfully ignorant in which case it is the boss that would snap at me. He knew exactly what he was doing, he was trying to do it, and there was an element of just power and control, and i would say, evil in him.
