Law is a set of rules, but it's also so hard to be precise and anticipate every situation. What the law really is is what some judge is going to say it is. And then you take it to the next one. So much more dynamic and much more weagly which is not comfortable because people want it to be like the laws of nature. You know, gravity is always gravity. That's not the way the laws that we have work.
