The advent of the Canadian basketball teams, RIP the Vancouver Grizzlies and the current Toronto Raptors has definitely led to an extra headache for the NBA. A couple of years ago, one of Andrew McCutchen's tax returns actually leaked on the Internet. It breaks down what he paid in all of these states. These guys do make a lot of money. But when you see it on paper, they are paying like well over 50% of their income just in taxes.
