What's the Difference Between Middle Eastern and Middle Eastern Literature?
The strangers have been understood as tricksters and clowns in my fields literature. They were propagating technology that a lot of us to day would say was crucial, right? The modern present does not map easily on to the past. I think it's broadened m our conception of what was possible. And also, we have to imagine who brought so called civilization to whom? These were roaming hordes in the middle east and in europe. We tend to associate nomadic peoples not with civilization. You know, civilization is sedentary. And so i think a lot of these categories just have to be re-imagined.
