The Pentagon's Budget Process on Capital Hill

The acquisition system here in the pentagon has been broken since i've seen it you know first hand for the past 15 years. Weapons manufacturers have no choice they charge what they want a lot of inspectors were fires let go not renewed  the budget process on capital hill never has a budget on time passed on time and so those weapons manufacturers wait and see if they're going to have the money but also that slows things down. Somebody is going to have to figure out how to have five-year budgets passed or something for the pentagon so that weapons manufacturers can know what they're dealing with on the horizon.
