Quina's Life and Work
He revived the use of peyote amongst Plains Indians. Quina Parker died of rheumatism-induced heart failure on February 23, 1911. At no point did he mention his career as a raider or killer of white people. There were no more chiefs after that. They were replaced by Committee of Member Tribes.
