What Is Insurance Red Lining?

Red lining is the process through which particular neighborhoods reges or denied access to financial resources like loans or insurance. maps created by the federal housing administration in the 19 thirties are available and very viceral. But activist in the 19 sixties were claiming that zipcodes and other geographical markers were simply shorthand for race. The insurance industry ended defending its practices by insisting that they their decisions were objective and based on statistical evidence.
