I Love Being White

Whiteness has always been about staying on top of a social hierarchy based on the color of one's skin. Louis C.K.'s take on whiteness: "If it was an option, I would re-up every year" The percentage of the white population in the U.S. has fallen from 80% in 1980 to 62% in 2014. In American society, like 42.5% of people living below the poverty line are white.
