Is Leprosy a Disease You Couldn't Treat, You Could't Cure?
Leprosy was seen as a disease you couldn't treat, but could care for the community. Historians have previously argued that this idea that leprosy suffers in the mediaeval period, which stigmatizes, is a later creation. They are very much like, one could say, saints in a sense. The diseases to day is treatable. I think, ut a course of medicine that costs about about 20 pounds. But a lot of people don't come forward because of thestigma attached to the disease.
