The Importance of Listening to God's Word

In verse 10 we see that Jesus responded to Peter telling him, do not be afraid. He didn't say, previously when you called him he said, I will make you a fishers of men. And this time he said, you will catch men. Peter trusted that Jesus would use him despite his sin. So in the same way, God is looking for people today who will listen and obey his word. For us, maybe trusting God with everything means using our skills and carriers in a way that honors God.
