Is This a Hoax?

Voycines was created as a hoax to be sold to emperor rudolph o pars of gold. Carbon dating indicates that it was nearly impossible for the book to have been made specifically to bilk rudolph. But this doesn't mean there wasn't another target instead. The manuscript appears to be copied from a draft, possibly by one or more people who couldn't read or understand what they were copying. This theory posits that the book is using a little known natural language and an invented alphabet. It's possible that the authors decided to write their secret text in such a way that no one else would ever be able to read it.
