What's the Effect of the Joseph Smith Papers on the Church?

Part of this came out a during the work on a documents volume one at the joseph smith papers project. And so they jesus gives them the authority to give the Gift of The Holy Ghost. They can't be separated from Joseph's account which excludes these in his narrative.
