How to Breakout a Mid-Round Running Back
Since 2011, we've had 24 middle round rookie running backs play 8 or more games in the season. On average, those players saw an increase in fantasy points per game of 1.5 from the front half of the season to the second half. When looking at true breakout rate, which is when a player exceeds ADP expectation by 6 or more points, their true breakout rate is only 4%. That would then make them one of the best true breakout subsets.
