Men Should Lead From the Front
The father should be the head of his household. And what I mean about that is like, you should be leading from the front. Even with King David, when he stayed home at the times when kings would go to war, he was leading from the back. The whole narrative of the gospel is Jesus fulfilling the law where we could not. He went before us. It makes me think at a very practical level, what would it look like for fathers to be out front? Brian: One of the things would be it means you don't let your wife set the tone, vision, direction of the family.
