Allahu Akbar Is the Greatest

The adhan is the call to prayer. It's called five times a day, and then you get to the masjid, which is the prayer place. Just before the imam starts, there is almost repetition of the words of the adhan in something known as ikama. In actual fact, if you look at the Arabic language, the term Akbar is superlative. It refers to greater. We just say Allahu Akbar is the greatest, meaning greater than everything.
