Queen Victoria - A Woman in Her 60s and 70s

Once Queen Victoria is into her 60s, she suddenly does seem to be able to reconcile the two conflicting pressures of being a woman and being a queen. And when this happens, Queen Victoria becomes much more fulfilled. She gets on very well with her Prime Minister's Disraeli and Salisbury - rather less well with Mr Gladstone who she can't bear. But apart from that, on the whole, as a woman in her 60s and 70s, is somebody for whom I have nothing but admiration.
