Is There Any Chance That Xi Jinping Will Go Back and Look at Zero COVID Policies?
Xi Jinping was essentially confirmed as president and perpetuity. I think that's a big part of the anger. People before the Congress thought that maybe Xi would be thinking about balancing power within the top leadership, but instead he promoted only Xi loyalists. Local officials are always consistently effective at being human shields for the central government. Is there any chance though, in your mind, Xi Jinping is willing to go back and look at these zero COVID policies,. which appear to be the lion's share of the reason behind what is going on at the moment?
