The Importance of Babies
When I was about 10 or 11, I read Plato's apology for the Platonic universe. It just seemed obvious to me that a way that you continued on in the world was through your children. Babies are like the research and development operation or arm of the human species. And it's pretty clear that babies are finding out more about the world in five minutes than most of us do in five years.
