In 20 11, a new law went into effect in missouri that took on the dog breeding industry. The attorney general's office shut down about over 30 and put the fear of god onto breeders. That was ten years ago; today there are approximately 50 thousand fewer dogs confined in commercial breeding operations than were the case ten years ago.
