sam had been arrested the year before and charged with third degree assault in a domestic violence incident. Police used that information, along with data from sam's selphone pings, to hone in on an area off of i 25. Sam apparently didn't know which exit or anything, just that there was a bunch of trees around. So po blast that information out to this huge multi agency law enforcement team that they've assembled,. They're likely trying to hide the car. And here's the general area that they're in.
