What Is God's Lot?

Ephesians 111: We have been chosen as God's portion Ie assigned by God himself as his own lot notice the idea of portion and Lot now some translations have tried to reflect this we're gonna look at it in just a second. The problem is that translators went about making it consistent with the rest of the text and instead of recognizing the word as a Passive verb as it is in the manuscripts They just made it active to say obtain an inheritance. That's interesting, but it's not Unnormal for the word to be translated heritage now. Here we are Possi- and here's a commentary on what certain keywords can mean possible translation.
