The Effects of Hormonal Epochs on the Brain

During puberty boys and girls get different hormones that change them but there's a second one that very people know about right around the perinatal periods of before they're born where much of the masculinization occurs in young boys. Right before children are born if they're male they receive a huge influx of both estrogen and testosterone which feminizes the brain. The personality differences are largely thought to be coming from this epoch.
