Connecting With a Client

Michael ha: What processes do you have to really start connecting with the client before the shoe? And does that differ between when you're doing a paid client versus like a personal project? Mat Cain: My job is to make beautiful images of people. I can do that in five minutes or five hours. It's the connection with the person, in having a relationship with them, which is going to make the beautiful images. Not the camerais, not the light. It's none of that stuff.
