The Power of Old Women as Sexual
I'm thinking about her laughing in connection with the idea of old women as sexual. The idea that a grandmother, you know, someone who should be at grandmother age is still a sexual being. And I think she might be laughing. She doesn't even have to touch him to get him to move away from her. She's that powerful. Like her body, her naked body is so terrifying to him that he has to back up.
