Is the Internet Making Us Subsequent Thinkers?

We get more information to think about, but we think in more superficial ways. Technology is part of that complex and if the technology we use to inform ourselves encourages, discourages rather, deep thinking then we're going to struggle to solve problems. I think there's also a more philosophical issue. We have to be able to screen out distraction sometimes. That unlocks the most profound ways of thinking that we're capable of. And i think if we cut ourselves off from that, by being distracted and interrupted all the time, then we lose something important in our lives and in the way we define selves.
