Among the Russians Is Lockbit, a Russian Gang Operating in Russia
Lockbit has deployed ransomware against the ION group, a provider of software to financial traders. The U.S. Treasury Department is a bit more reserved, saying yesterday that the attack poses no systemic risk to the financial sector. Lockbit attacks targets outside of Russia, and for the most part in countries Russia regards as hostile.
