i was lucky to be the beneficiary of maybe four religious traditions when i was growing up. On the other hand, i didn't have one. Perhaps my whole life is going to be about making some kind of rigorous, useful collage of the many traditions i've been exposed to. But i don't have the rad clarity and certainty of many people whom i admire,. who were born into a tradition and know from the first day that that is where they belong. I mean, we're also, and i think you're part of thism, and i guess i'm part of this er, where modern people are actually crafting these things on their own. Andi think about that
