I Don't Know Sweeney, You Know?
In the early 90s, all of the Clinton nights, whatever their politics, they just couldn't take labor seriously in any way, shape or form. But Sweeney comes along. And this was the absolute nadir of the union movement in terms of its public reputation. He found a lot of support among really, you know, left wing, lefty sort of people who were thirsty and wanted to have a kind of coalition there.
