What Is Britishness and Europeanness?

African and Caribbean people is the best definition of who this book is about, says author. People should be presented with their geographical heritage, cultural heritage, not simply as a color, let's say. The term that's often used is Black British history which is an unfortunate term in the same way that white British history would be an unfortunate term. And I think the other thing is that people sometimes forget when we're looking at this history that it has an African component, especially recent history.
