Meditation is all about calming the mind, stilling it, quieting it. The easiest way of learning breath control is by a pranam. You can start with ten minutes a day and even before you start meditating, you can start with breath control - proniam. So don't get frustrated if it doesn't work at first. Persevere. Start with ten minutes at a time, and eventually you'll good at it, and you'll be able to calm the mind down. And that has immense benefits in all aspects of life.
