Gawain and the Lady Fought Over a Belt
Gawain was going to die tomorrow. The lady asked for a token, something to remember him by after he left when her longing for him was too strong. He didn't have anything worthy of her. She pulled out a red gold ring with a ruby on it and kissed him three times before he stopped her. Gawain spent the rest of the day in a much better mood - though he did go to confession just in case. Despite his get out of death free card green belt, Gawain did not sleep well that night.
